Welcome to the Advising Center
The Advising Center assists students with the academic and personal challenges they often face. The primary focus of the center is on supporting students in developmental courses and those identified as “at-risk.” The center also works collaboratively to provide student workshops, faculty advisor training, and other services that promote student success. The center staff may assist students with personal needs through referrals to outside agencies.
Services are available at the McClellan Center, in the Inzer Hall on the Wallace Drive Campus, in the Administration Building on the Ayers Campus, and at Cherokee.
The Advising Resource Center houses a variety of two and four-year college catalogs, handbooks, and transfer information for students interested in furthering their college careers. Students are encouraged to utilize the computers located in the Resource Center for career interest inventories, academic research, classroom assignments and/or homework.
