Dear Perspective Resident,
Thank you for your interest in staying with us on campus in the Fowler Residence Hall. I know your stay in Fowler Hall will greatly enhance your new college experience. The Staff here at Fowler Hall stand ready to assist you and make your transition into Fowler Hall very easy. As you would seek the advice of one of our College counselors for your academic selections, my Staff here at Fowler Hall look forward to helping you get moved into Fowler Hall. We invite you to visit Fowler Hall and let us show you around the dorm and go over all the information with you. We can answer all of your questions and hopefully you will decide to reside here at Fowler Hall.
On our Residence Hall Home Page, you will see a link to “Residence Hall Application.” Please fill out the form which must be returned with a $200.00 deposit. When you pay this deposit, you will be placed on the waiting room list. Once this deposit is paid, you are guaranteed a room at Fowler Hall once your name moves up the waiting list. Before you are initially allowed to move in, you will need to pay in advance the full fee for each semester. Please remember that rooms are reserved first come, after the deposit has been paid. Please carefully read the “Residence Hall Policies and Procedures and Lease Agreement” and agree to the requirements before you decide to live at Fowler Hall. You will be allowed to usually move into Fowler Hall at about five days prior to the beginning of the semester.
The normal cost of living in Fowler Hall includes your room and board and your meal ticket that includes 15 meals per week. The cafeteria is in close walking distance of the dorm. Our Security Department provides transportation on the weekends to either the Colonial Mall or Coosa Town Center for your eating and shopping needs on weekends and holidays. Computers with internet access are available for your use in the lobby.
