WebCT is the course management system utilized at Gadsden State Community College. It is a Web-based course management system that allows faculty to create Web sites for courses that enhance or deliver course instruction. Students enrolled in WebCT courses have access to support materials posted by the instructor (syllabi, course notes, and assignments), links to Web-based materials, discussion boards and chat rooms, and online quizzing. Students also have the ability to monitor their progress in these classes. To access a WebCT course, a student will require a computer, Internet access, and an appropriate Internet browser.
