| GSCC News Education Brief The Gadsden State Community College Art Department and Meadows Library will present “Recent Drawings and Paintings” by Susan S. Roberts, on exhibit from March 20 – April 24 in the Meadows Library. Roberts is a painter, musician and art instructor, living and working in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Her experience includes a full-time position as Art Instructor for Gadsden State Community College from 1993 – 2003. In 2007, she completed her MFA in Studio Art at the University of Alabama where she currently teaches Painting. Her work was recently included in the Red Clay Survey, 2007, Exhibition of Contemporary Southern Art, Huntsville (Alabama) Museum of Art, Sarah Moody Gallery of Art, and a solo show in 2007 at Glitch9 Studio. Roberts will be available for a meet the artist reception and gallery talk in the Meadows Library on April 4 at 11 a.m. The reception and gallery talk is open to the public. |
