Water, Water Every Where

The Alabama Virtual Library provides you with encyclopedias, dictionaries, and databases containing magazine and journal articles to support your studies. These databases are available everywhere at GSCC. You may also obtain home access priviledges from the circulation desk at Meadows Library.

Each encyclopdia, dictionary, or database will have a tutortial or help section to assist you in at home searching.

Some of the databases you want to consider are:

• Health Source Nursing/Academic Edition
• SIRS Knowledge Source
• Vocational and Career Collection

Many of the databases in the AVL will have articles on this subject. Be sure to consider offerings such as MEDLINE, Newspaper Source, and PubMed as well.
