Program Degree Description
Agribusiness Education A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year degree in agribusiness education.
Agriculture A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year degree with a major in an agriculture area other than agribusiness education.

Art A.A. degree This program is designed for students who wish to pursue a degree with an art major, whether it be in fine arts, art education, or commercial/applied art.
Biology A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year degree with a major in biology.
Business Administration A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a baccalaureate degree with specialization in such areas as accounting, management, marketing, finance, business administration, and other business fields.
Chemistry A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year degree in professional chemistry.
Clinical Lab Technician A.A.S. degree
Computer and Information Science A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a baccalaureate degree in computer science with a business emphasis.
Computer Science A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a baccalaureate degree in computer science and a minor in a scientific field such as physics, mathematics, or engineering.
Computer Science Technology A.A.S. degree This occupational program is designed for students who plan to enter the job market with an associate in applied science degree. It emphasizes computer programming as well as microcomputer applications and software.
Criminal Justice A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year degree in criminal justice.
Childhood Development A.A.S. degree This program is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of persons employed in early childhood development positions, such as in day-care centers, and to prepare students for such positions.
Early Childhood Education A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to teach from kindergarten up to grade 3 of elementary school.
Early Childhood/Pre-School Education A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to teach and/or work at the pre-school level.
NOTE: This curriculum includes the 41-semester-hour core, plus 6 additional transfer hours into a Early Childhood Education program or related programs.
Elementary Education A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to teach grades K-6.
English A.A. degree This program is designed for students who plan to teach English in secondary school.
Financial Planning and Counseling A.S. degree
Health, Physical Education, and Recreation A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year program in physical education.
History A.A. degree This program is designed for students who plan to teach history in secondary school.
Human Services A.A.S. degree This program is designed to prepare students for associate positions in the human services field. Under the fuidance and supervision of the professional interdisciplinary team, the graduate is prepared to work with persons experiencing emotional difficulties, physical limitations, and learning and functional disabilities; those with substance-related disorders; and members of the older adult population. The degree requires a general education core of at least 26 semester hours, a human services core of 27 semester hours, and a specialization in either Social Work Associate or Alcohol and Drugs Associate, each of which specialization requires 15 semesster hours.

Mathematics A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to pursue graduate study and eventually careers as mathematicians, but not necessarily in education.
Mathematics Education A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to teach mathematics in secondary school.
Music A.A. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year degree in music.
Registered Nursing A.A.S. degree This career-entry program is designed to prepare graduates to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for licensure and for practice as registered nurses *This program has special policies and procedures, including an LPN Mobility curriculum.

Paralegal A.A.S. degree This program is designed to prepare students to perform paralegal work in law offices, legal departments of corporations, banks, governmental agencies, etc.
Pre-Dentistry A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to continue their studies at a four-year institution and then apply for admission to a school of dentistry.
Pre-Engineering A.S. degree
Pre-Forestry A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to enter law school after obtaining the A.B. degree or the B.S. degree.
Pre-Law A.A. degree
Pre-Medical Technology A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year degree in a medical technology.
Pre-Medicine A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to continue their studies at a four-year institution and then apply for admission to a school of medicine.
Pre-Pharmacy A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to enter the field of pharmacy.
Pre-Veterinary Medicine A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to continue their studies at a four-year institution and then apply for admission to a school of veterinary medicine.
Psychology A.A. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year degree in psychology.
Public Safety Telecommunications A.A.S. degree
Radiologic Technology A.A.S. degree This program is designed for graduates to write the registry examination offered for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and work as radiologic technologists. *This program has special policies and procedures, including an alternate curriculum for the R.T.(R.)(ARRT) student.
Science Education A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to earn the baccalaureate degree in science education.
Sociology A.S. degree This program is designed for students who plan to complete a four-year degree in sociology.
Speech Communication A.A. degree This program is designed for students who plan to pursue a profession related to public speaking (i.e., ministry, politics, etc.) or otherwise improve themselves in the everyday speech situation. It is also a sound base for a degree in mass communication.

Pre-Athletic Training

A.S. degree

This program allows the student to gain invaluable experience in athletic training while completing their basic college requirements.  Once complete, the student will be able to transfer to one of the CAATE accredited universities in the state.
