Fall Opportunity Fair

Anniston, Ala. -The Office of Career Services at Gadsden State Community College will host a Fall Employment Opportunity Fair Tuesday, October 13 at the Ayers Campus Learning Resource Center in Anniston from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. All students, alumni and the general public are welcome to attend at no cost. Please bring several copies of your current resume and the dress is professional attire. Gadsden State Theatre Department Presents “Dracula”

The Gadsden State Community College Theatre Department will bring “Dracula” to the stage of Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center. Public performances are scheduled for Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30 at 7 p.m.

GADSDEN UPWARD BOUND STUDENTS VISIT NATION’S CAPITAL

The Gadsden Upward Bound Summer Program concluded this year with a four-day excursion to Washington, DC. Seventy-five participants from the Gadsden City, Etowah and Attalla school system, Upward Bound faculty and staff, resident assistants, parents, and chaperones made the trip to the nation’s capital. Upward Bound programs are sponsored by the United States Department of Education.

UPWARD BOUND HAS HEART

Thirty-one students from this summer’s Upward Bound program at the Ayers Campus of Gadsden State Community College spent three days volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and Hands-On New Orleans.
