NEA Journal Appoints Gadsden State Instructor to Editorial Board

Gadsden, Ala.–Susan Williams Brown, Ed.D has been named to the editorial board for Thought & Action, the National Education Association (NEA) Higher Education Journal. Brown, assistant to the dean of instructional services at Gadsden State Community College, is also serving as vice-president of the Alabama Education Association Postsecondary Division.

Gadsden, Ala.–Gadsden State Community College will host its annual Transfer Day January 26. One session will be held in the Pierce Cain Learning Resource Center on the Ayers Campus from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. A second session will take place at the Inzer Hall Cafeteria on the Wallace Drive Campus from 10:30 a.m. until noon.

12th Annual MLK Health Fair Scheduled for January 18

Gadsden, Ala.–The 12th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Initiative Health Fair sponsored by Gadsden State Community College is scheduled for Monday, January 18 from 8 a.m. until noon in the East Broad Campus Auditorium.
