GADSDEN STATE CELEBRATES COMMUNITY COLLEGE MONTH

Gadsden State Community College is celebrating National Community College month with a number of activities scheduled throughout April. The theme this year is “Shine On” and will include free events for students and the community. Luanne Hayes and Baisha Woody are co-chairpersons of the Community College Month Committee.

SOMETHING FISHY AT GADSDEN STATE

The newest club on campus, the Gadsden State Collegiate Fishing Club, has been competing in the Southern Collegiate Bass Fishing Series (SCBFS) hosted by Auburn University and is definitely making waves.

ALL THE KING’S WOMEN

The Gadsden State Community College Fine Arts Department presents “All the King’s Women,” a story of Elvis Presley told through the eyes of 17 women. This is a fast paced series of five comedic plays and three monologues based on the life of Elvis.

Explore Tech 2010

Gadsden State Community College is paving the way for the youth of Etowah, Calhoun and Cherokee Counties to be inspired and choose a career path that they will enjoy. The annual Explore Tech Program will be held on two Gadsden State campuses and over 200 students are expected to attend.
