Congratulations! Summer 2012 LPN Graduates

The Gadsden State Division of Health Sciences recently held a pinning ceremony for the Licensed Practical Nursing Programs at Gadsden State Cherokee, McClellan Center and the Valley Street Campus.  The summer 2012 program graduates are:

Alabama and Georgia Join Against Drunken Driving

WHAT:  Law enforcement officials and traffic safety advocates from Alabama  and Georgia will join together for two “Hands Across the Border” media events in support of the national enforcement mobilization against impaired driving,

“Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”, to promote safe & sober driving over the heavily traveled Labor Day holiday weekend.  At each news conference, there will be a photo opportunity handshake between law enforcement officers from both states, pledging cooperation to work  together in reducing traffic deaths and injuries during the holiday weekend. 

 WHEN & WHERE:   The first News Conference will be on Tuesday, August 28th, at 9:00 a.m.  (Central time) at the West Georgia Welcome Center on        I-20;   followed by a motorcade to the East Alabama Welcome Center on I-20 (Cleburne County),  at which another News Conference will be conducted around 9:40 a.m.  (Central time).
