Moscow Ballet Returns to Gadsden November 20

The Moscow Ballet will perform the Great Russian Nutcracker at the Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center on the Wallace Drive Campus of Gadsden State on November 20.  Tickets are available now at for this year’s performance. The Moscow Ballet is currently celebrating 20 years of touring North America and plans to include Gadsden on this year’s tour.

A cast of over forty professional dancers will perform this holiday favorite with unique Russian style and technique. This year’s 20th anniversary performance will feature some new additions including the “Dove of Peace” duet, a Christmas tree that grows, falling snow, towering silk puppets and more than 200 exquisite costumes all designed to add extra splendor to this year’s show.  The hand-painted backdrops will complement the ever popular music by Tchaikovsky.
