GED Graduation & Gadsden Toastmasters Meeting Apr. 25

Spring GED Graduation April 25

The Adult Education Department will hold its Spring GED Graduation Ceremony Thursday, April 25 at Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center in Gadsden at 7:00 p.m.  Gadsden State President Raymond W. Staats will be the speaker for

Gadsden Toastmasters to Hold First Meeting April 25

 Anyone interested in improving communication and leadership skills, learning to demonstrate more confidence in public speaking, or becoming better prepared for job interviews is invited to attend the first meeting of Gadsden Toastmasters.  The group will meet each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. beginning April 25 in Room 202 of the Joe Ford Center located on the East Broad Campus of Gadsden State Community College.  Participants will enjoy a pressure free environment designed to boost confidence through a variety of communication exercises guided by a group of their peers.  Toastmasters will provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which participants are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.  For more information about Gadsden Toastmasters contact Tracy Rowland at 480-236-3688, visit on the web at or join on Facebook at Gadsden Toastmasters.
