The Gadsden State Community College A Cappella Choir and Singers, under the direction of J.T. Harrell, will be touring Northeast Florida and Southeast Alabama April 2-6. The tour will take the group to Troy University, Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, First Baptist Church of Enterprise, Northwest Florida Corrections Facility, Gulf Coast Community College,
Provisions Senior Living, and Pensacola Naval Air Base. The tour will culminate with a homecoming concert at Gadsden’s First Baptist Church on Sunday, April 6 at 4:00 p.m. The church is located at 235 S. 5th Street in downtown Gadsden. The public is invited to hear this accomplished group as they present their final concert of the season.
The group consists of 24 students who study voice in addition to their various collegiate majors. The singers include: Caton Allen (Spring Garden), Jimmie Boatwright (Southside), Bethany Bridges (Jacksonville), Houston Britt (Springville), Wesley Brittain (Hokes Bluff), Alexander Brooks (Anniston), Landon Bruton (Gadsden), Steven Butler (Hokes Bluff), Dorothy Dusendschon (Gadsden), Amanda Franklin (Glencoe), Shantona Gallagher (Gadsden), Tanner Ford (Gadsden), Cameron Greenwood (Saks), Bree Hardman (Southside), Anna Harrell (Gadsden), Erin Hudson (Gadsden), Alyssa Krienke (Rainbow City), Maddisson Morris (Gadsden), Amanda Russell (Gadsden), Lacy Smith (Springville), Caitlin Thomas (Southside), Courtney Van Nest (Anniston), Erin Wagnon (Hokes Bluff), Rebecca Williams (Glencoe), William Austin II (Saks).
