J.A. Ritter

J.A. Ritter

Currently on display are the works of J.A. Ritter. The show is titled “A Second Look”, and runs through December 22. Ritter’s works include scenic paintings of her native area of Louisiana, flowers, characters or stereotypical persons with hats, and general compositions ranging from still life to abstract. Ritter’s work is diversified and eclectic-realistic enough to suit the traditionalist, yet bold enough satisfy those who prefer contemporary art. She draws from her many travels to Europe, the everyday world around her, and from her vivid recollections of growing up in the bayou region of South Louisiana.
