During April, the nation recognizes community colleges for the impact they make on the local, state and national economy. Community colleges do more to align education with the workforce than ever before. As we celebrate Community College Awareness Month in April, it is the right time to take a serious look at what Gadsden State Community College contributes to growth of the economy and the preparation of the workforce needed by local business and industry.

Gadsden State Community College will join other businesses and organizations April 24-30 as they recognize the important contributions that administrative professionals make each year to the economy by observing Administrative Professionals Week.
The Gadsden State Community College Cardinals Athletic Department will host two camps for girls basketball this summer:
June 6-8 Varsity Team Play Dates ($250 per team/per day) / June 13-15 Jr. Varsity Team Play Dates ($200 per team/per day)
The Phi Theta Kappa honor society chapter at Gadsden State Community College earned several chapter and individual member honors at the recent regional conference held at Northeast Alabama Community College in Rainsville.
