Gadsden State offers ACT Prep Camps
Gadsden, Ala.—The Gadsden State Community College Continuing Education Department will offer three ACT Prep camps May 30-June 2, June 19-23 and July 17-21. By taking advantage of the ACT Prep Camp, high school students will have an opportunity to prepare for the 2017-2018 testing schedule which begins September 9.
Classes will meet from 1 to 4 p.m. each day at the Joe Ford Center, Room 115, on the East Broad Campus. Registration fee is $99.00 per student and due to limited space pre-registration is required. Driver’s Education classes at Gadsden State
Gadsden, Ala.--Driver’s Education classes will be offered this summer through the Continuing Education Department at Gadsden State Community College. Classes will be held at the following locations:
June 5-8 or July 10-13 East Broad Campus (Joe Ford Center, Room 115)
June 12-15 or July 17-20 Gadsden State Cherokee (Centre)
June 19-22 Ayers Campus (Anniston)
Classes will meet from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration fee is $175.00 per person and certificates will be awarded after completion of the class. Pre-registration is required for all sessions. Summer, Fall 2017 registration underway at Gadsden State
Gadsden, Ala.--Registration continues at Gadsden State Community College for the 2017 Summer and Fall semesters. The Summer III term begins July 6. Gadsden State offers learning opportunities for military veterans
Gadsden, Ala.—Gadsden State’s Veterans Upward Bound program will host an Open House from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 7 and Tech Tuesday BYOD: Learn to use iPad/iPod Touch June 13 at the Ayers Campus Learning Resource Center in Anniston. A Tech Tuesday BYOD workshop will also be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 13 at Beck Field House on the Wallace Drive Campus. The workshop is customized to offer assistance in using the latest technology devices. Please RSVP to 256-549-8204.
Military veterans residing in Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, DeKalb, Etowah, Jefferson, Marshall, St. Clair or Talladega County are invited to take advantage of the free services offered through VUB—a TRiO program funded 100% by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Enrollment at Gadsden State or any other college or university is not mandatory in order to participate.
