Gadsden State to hold Transfer Fair Dec. 5
Gadsden, Ala.—The Advising Center at Gadsden State Community College will host a College Transfer Fair from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 5 at Pierce Cain Learning Resource Center on the Ayers Campus. Representatives from more than 25 colleges and universities will be available to answer questions and provide prospective students with information on transfer scholarships, application deadlines, tuition/housing, financial aid and career opportunities. Annual coat drive underway at Gadsden State
Gadsden, Ala.--Community supporters, faculty, staff and students of Gadsden State Community College are encouraged to support area shelters and mission centers by donating new or mildly-used coats and jackets for children and adults. There is also a need for winter clothing for children and men. The annual drive is sponsored by the Electrical Technology Department and will continue through Jan. 15, 2018. Items may be dropped off at the East Broad Campus’ Electrical Technology Dept. building, Bevill Center Office #149 (Angela Ross), Ayers Campus Electrical Technology Department (Tony Thrower), Valley Street Campus (Frances Hall), Wallace Drive Maintenance Bldg. (Kathy Kendrick), Cherokee Campus (Luanne Hayes), VUB-Beck Field House (Linda Morris) or the Gadsden State Bookstore located in the One Stop Center.
