Gadsden State Community College begins the first of a series of Preview Days starting on Feb. 8 to allow prospective students to get a firsthand view of a campus of their choice in either Etowah, Calhoun or Cherokee counties. Preview Days will continue through April 4 at each of Gadsden State’s six campuses.
Prospective students of all ages are invited to take a tour and discover each of the technical and academic programs Gadsden State has to offer. The students will also learn about financial aid and dual enrollment options.
“The students will have an opportunity to make connections with faculty, staff as well as future students,” said Laura Swann, director of Enrollment Services. “Gadsden State is excited to be able to offer an opportunity for students to preview an exciting future with us.”
The Preview Day itinerary will vary for each campus. Visit a detailed schedule at gadsdenstate.edu/enrollmentservices/previewday to find the best date.
The first day starts in Anniston from 8:30 a.m. to noon Feb. 8 on the Ayers Campus. The next Preview Day will be at the McClellan Center from 8:30 a.m. to noon Feb. 9. The Wallace Drive Campus will host its first Preview Day from 8:30 a.m. to noon Feb. 14 while the Valley Street Campus has scheduled its Preview Day on March 7. For students in the Gadsden area who cannot attend one of the daytime tours, the Wallace Drive Campus will host an evening event from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The only tour this spring is planned for 8:30 a.m. to noon April 4 at Gadsden State Cherokee.
