Driver’s Education & ACT Prep at Gadsden State
Gadsden, Ala.--The Continuing Education Department at Gadsden State Community College will offer Driver’s Ed and ACT Prep classes in July. Classes held on the East Broad Campus (Room 115, Joe Ford Center) include Driver’s Ed July 10-13 and ACT Prep July 17-20. A Driver’s Ed class will be held July 17-20 at Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre. Registration fee for Driver’s Ed is $175.00 per person and certificates will be awarded after completion of the class. The meeting time for both classes is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. ACT Prep meets from 1 to 4 p.m. and the fee is $99 per person. Pre-registration is required for all sessions. Cardinal Commit for incoming Gadsden State freshmen
Gadsden, Ala.— Incoming freshmen at Gadsden State are invited to attend one of three Cardinal Commit orientation sessions to be held in July. Sessions will meet from 8:30 a.m. to noon July 18 at Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre, July 19 at the McClellan Center Auditorium in Anniston and July 20 at Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center in Gadsden. Parents are encouraged to attend and will participate in a parent panel while students are in training sessions. Tech Tuesday workshop for military veterans
Gadsden, Ala.—Gadsden State’s Veterans Upward Bound program will host Tech Tuesday BYOD: Learn to use iPad/iPod Touch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 25 at the Ayers Campus Learning Resource Center and Beck Field House-Wallace Drive Campus.
