GSCC hosting free workshops for veterans
The Gadsden State Community College Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) program will host a free Resume/Interview Skills workshop for veterans Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ayers Campus Learning Resource Center. Tech Tuesday BYOD: Learn to use iPad/iPod Touch will be held Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Beck Field House on the Wallace Drive Campus. Military veterans will receive assistance with refreshing their resumes, preparing for upcoming interviews and in learning to use the latest technology devices. Enrollment at Gadsden State or any other college or university is not mandatory in order to participate. The McClellan Bookworms will meet Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. to discuss the book Remember the Ladies by Gina Mulligan.
