The mission of the Science Division is to provide an opportunity for students to achieve their highest potential in education in the natural sciences for the student population within Gadsden State Community College's service area. This is accomplished by offering a wide variety of freshman and sophomore courses in biology, chemistry, physics, physical science and aquatic science to serve the needs of Gadsden State students seeking associate degrees or certificates. To support these goals each department in the Science Division engages in professional and community service consistent with its instructional programs.
Advisors for students seeking a degree or a certificate in a Gadsden State program or taking Gadsden State courses to prepare to transfer into a program in which the College does not offer an associate degree, an advisor will work with students in planning courses for the upcoming semester(s).
For course descriptions and college policies refer to the Gadsden State Catalog and Student Handbook.
