Gadsden State Community College (College, Gadsden State) provides services for a multitude of students, employees, community members, community leaders, business and industry. Faculty and staff each strive to provide exemplary services on a daily basis. However, everyone will not walk away satisfied all the time.

Applications are taken from all interested persons in the high school target areas (preferably freshmen and sophomores.) Eligible target schools include: Etowah, Gadsden City, Gaston, and Glencoe. Applications can be obtained from the high school counselor at the aforementioned schools.
The Academic Phase consists of 12 Saturday sessions, meeting twice a month—normally on the 1st and 2nd Saturday.) The phase is designed to enhance the student’s skills in their high school core classes. Tutoring is provided during this phase, as well as after school.
