Live work is performed by students, under the supervision of an instructor, as part of their vocational/technical training program. The work project is for service, repair, or production jobs, related to the instructional program and may be performed in school, or on a job site. Live work projects are conducted for the education of the student, not as a benefit to the eligible person or organization. The College must not compete with private industry, or profit from the live work projects. GSCC programs which perform live work and their location are as follows:

HOPE/Lifetime Learning Tax Credit
A student, or the person who claims the student as a dependent, who pays out of pocket for tuition and related expenses excluding insurance and books, may qualify for the Hope credit or the Lifetime Learning credit on the taxpayer's federal tax return. A Tuition Payment Statement (1098-T) is mailed to the student's address on file, if the payment for qualifying expenses exceeds the amount received from scholarships and/or grants for the year.
Students may pay tuition and other fees by web using a Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express. Payment for tuition should be made at the time of registration.
Students may make adjustments to class schedules during the add/drop period (dates for add/drops are listed in the current semester class schedule).
