                                                     BIO 104 STUDY GUIDE
                                                                CH. 44 & 45

This exam is based on information from chapters 44 & 45.  You must be able to recognize examples of various organisms including Grantia, Obelia, Hydra, Portuguese Man-of-War, Jelly Fish, Sea anemone, Coral, Box Jellyfish, Comb Jellies, Planaria, Liver Fluke, Tapeworm, Nematodes such as pinworm, ascaris, filarial worm , chiton, snail, clam, squid, octopus, nautilus, earthworm, clamworm, leech, etc.

You must be able to place the organisms above in their respective phyla and classes. You must be able to recognize descriptions of these groups.  Ex.: Platyhelminthes is the phylum associated with flatworms.

 You must be able to distinguish characteristics of members of these phyla and classes from characteristics that do not belong to these groups.

 You must be able to visually recognize all organisms, structures, functions, and know their common names and lifestyles.
