GUIDES
for ASSOCIATE DEGREES
General Information
Transfer Guides and Programs of Study are offered under the Division of
Science such as Aquatic Science, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Pharmacy and a number of
others. These Transfer Guides or Programs lead to Associate Degrees or
Certificates or prepare the
student to transfer to four-year senior institutions. In addition, at the
bottom of the list of Transfer Guides or Programs below is a list of Other
Career
Opportunities, such as Pre-Physical Therapy which are not formal programs of
GSCC and do not lead to degrees or certificates at the College. Our advisors are
prepared, however, to assist you in these program areas to assist you in
planning your transfer to senior institutions in the State.

offered through the Division of Science are found in the Gadsden
State Catalog and Student Handbook
which may be accessed
online at
GSCC Catalog.
It is recommended that you review the information published in the Catalog,
and that you research the STARS program on the Web at
http://stars.troy.edu/ to ensure that your planned curriculum will
meet the requirements of the four-year colleges that you may be considering for
transfer upon completion of your requirements at Gadsden State.
It is also recommended that you get assistance every
semester in determining courses for the program of study you have chosen. Faculty
advisors for your selected program are available to assist you. If you have not
decided on a program of study, you must confer with the counselor for undeclared
majors whose office is in the Inzer Student Center.
