Division of Science Home PageThe mission of the Science Division is to provide excellence in education in the natural sciences for the student population within Gadsden State’s service area. This is accomplished by offering a wide variety of freshman and sophomore courses in biology, chemistry, physics, physical science and aquatic science to serve the needs of Gadsden State students seeking associate degrees or certificates and for those students planning to transfer to senior institutions to complete their education. To support these goals each department in the Science Division engages in professional and community service consistent with its instructional programs. - Dr. L. Neal Tharp
