The Gadsden State Carpentry program provides extensive, hands-on instruction that allows students to construct articles of furniture, kitchen cabinets, and other items using blueprints and drawings as guides. The program is designed to equip students who successfully complete the program with the necessary skills to qualify for an entry-level or better position as a carpenter.
