PRACTICE TEST RECOMMENDATIONS
***Gadsden State now administers the Next-Generation Accuplacer.
The Accuplacer placement test is a test assessment to evaluate a student's skill level in math (Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics), and writing. Students who are required to take all or part of the placement test are highly encouraged to spend time preparing for the test.
Test scores are not assessed as Pass/Fail, but rather as indicators to help place each individual student in courses at a level appropriate for the student’s current knowledge and abilities. Preparing for the Accuplacer placement test often results in better scores.
Upon test completion, students should plan to meet with their advisor to determine course recommendations based on test scores and major.
