Gadsden State to host Juried Student Art Exhibit
Gadsden, Ala. – Students who attended Gadsden State Community College between 2020 and 2024 are invited to submit up to five visual artworks to be considered for the Juried Student Art Exhibition. The exhibit will open with a reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 2 at the Walnut Gallery. It is free to the public.
The deadline to submit artwork is at 5 p.m. April 22. Notification of selection will be sent via text and email on April 25.
Artists should observe the following guidelines for consideration and inclusion:
- All artwork must be submitted in-person to the Fine Arts Department at Wallace Hall.
- All art must be wired and ready to hang. Frames are optional.
- Paintings must be dry at time of submission.
- All artwork is eligible, including work that was created outside of class.
- Each work should have the following information attached to the back:
- Artist name
- Title of work
- Media (materials used)
- Phone number
- Email address
