Student Success Workshop & Cardinal Arts Journal submissisons
Gadsden State to host student success career workshop
Gadsden State Community College is hosting live and virtual student success workshops to provide students with career enhancement information. A virtual session of “You’re Hired! Turning Your Education into Dollars” will begin at 10:30 a.m. April 13 at the Ayers Campus LRC Auditorium. The live session will begin at 12:30 p.m. April 14 in the Inzer Hall Cafeteria on the Wallace Drive Campus.
Students may email ARC@gadsdenstate.edu to RSVP and receive the virtual link for Blackboard Collaborate.

Submissions being accepted for Spring Cardinal Arts Journal
Submissions are now being accepted for the Spring 2021 issue of the Cardinal Arts Journal that will be available April 30. The theme for this semester’s issue is “Poetry in Motion.”
Submissions will be accepted from past and present students, staff and faculty members, as well as members of our community. Artists, writers and those with a connection to Gadsden State Community College are also encouraged to submit their work.
Writers entering the short fiction, creative non-fiction and/or poetry categories can include up to three entries in one Word document. Each entry should be on a separate page with a short bio included. Please be sure there is no author-identifying information on the entries.
For electronic submissions the title line should include last name, first name and genre (ex: Smith, Mary, Short Fiction).
