Local student selected for Leadership Development Program

Gadsden, Ala. — Clarissa Williams of Henegar has been selected to be a part of the American Society of the Radiologic Technologists Student to Leadership Development Program. The three-year program offers students a chance to attend educational sessions and to network with medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals.

Williams is a second-year radiography student at Gadsden State Community College. She was selected for ASRT SLDP after a nationwide application process. She is one of two students selected from Alabama. She will receive airfare, housing and a stipend for meals and other expenses for a trip to Orlando in June to attend the ASRT House of Delegates meeting.
