Gadsden State Basketball 2 seed in ACCC tournament, pep rally planned
Gadsden, Ala. — The Gadsden State Community College Men’s Basketball team is No. 2 seed in this week’s Alabama Community College Conference Tournament at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
A pep rally will take place at noon March 7 in front of the Beck Gymnasium on the Wallace Drive Campus. The public is invited to attend.
Tournament play begins March 7 at Spragins Hall. The Cardinals are slated to play at 4 p.m. March 8. They will compete against the winner of the Lawson State vs. Wallace State game, which will be played at 4 p.m. March 7. The No. 1 seed at the tournament is Bishop State. The quarterfinal and semifinal games will be streamed live at JockJive.com.
The ACCC Men’s Basketball Championship will follow the Women’s Basketball Championship, which is 1 p.m. March 9. It will be streamed on Alabama Public Television.
